So what kind of FPS are you getting in the game? Any good tips on bringing them up? I range from 100-200 with my rig but Ive head some players are squeezing 300...
Has any tried the Yitch3 config?
certainly helped smooth out my gameplay

Fraps says I'm at 91. Mobo and cpu are 5-6 years old. Definitely need an upgrade.
Graphics at 1280x720 and most graphic options off or low.
What folder do cfg's like Yitch3 go in?
Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles ...or...
AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles

I noticed you are hard to kill too!!!
Running:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965, must be 6 years old
Mobo: Asus M4A77T/USB3, 6 years old
GPU: EVGA GTX 750 TI, replaced old AMD HIS 5750 which gave me nothing but trouble.
RAM: 8Gbs
Looking to upgrade with:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K or Intel Core i7-4790K
Mobo: Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 or MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150

Hard to kill? is that when your not knifing me Joe? lol Ahhh the Z97 boards Ive heard are glorious! Im a big amd fan but they just dont have the overall grunt with there latest gear. Ive also heard good reports about the 750 TI's, great bang for buck apparently. Im in the mood for a GPU upgrade, ZF Who? just installed a GTX 780...Mmmmmmmm..... What kinda FPS are u getting with the 750?
Joe you will def see a improvement with the yitch3 mod

Thanks for the link Java....wow cant believe the AMD 8350..sheez!! I wouldnt of considered it would be close to the i5. Is that the way you might swing? Talk about Value. Its been year since Ive built an AMD rig for myself. Def worth a look into thats for sure

I have always had an AMD CPU but thinking of going Intel for a change. Undecided at the moment.

I'll be due for a new rig late this year, I'll be def looking at the AMD gear, and maybe a high end card with the money I could save =)
